I seen a lil info in the tmobile thread about being able to use there base and change somethings. Just wondering if anyone more skilled then myself had time to look into it. Thanks.

Well, I and several others I am sure have the skills. The problem for me though is I am running retail with no root. So, I have been focused on that for now..

I installed a TMo ROM this morning and it installed fine, it just would boot past the "Powered by Android" screen. I tried the different VZW modems and it didn't help.
it would or wouldnt boot past the android screen? you need to flash a custom kernel like ktwoosker kernel. if it wont boot it is a kernel issue not a modem issue

It wouldn't boot, I'll edit my post.

So I got the ROM flashed with the KT kernel and it boots up fine, I just don't have any signal/service. I'm going to try flashing the VZW modem.

Edit: The VZW modem put me in a boot loop.
