Installations
* Go to TWRP
* Wipe system, data, dalvik, cache
If you go from RR and want to save userdata, don't wipe anything!
* Install dotOS
or
can also be installed without copying the archive to the phone:
* in TWRP: Adviced - adb sideload - start
* on PC: adb sideload path/to/zip

I do not think there is anything interesting there. You can understand only in the process of using

Hmm... You are right. In Russia we havent volte(excl. in Moscow). But I included volte in overlay. I can't test it

I include volte in overlay in all my ROMs. If it doesn't work in slim, I think it doesn't work in another ROMs

Yes, u can use twrp 3.1.x and above
If you mean dt2w then I haven't any ideas

I once again explain: when I build any ROM in overlay I set <bool name="config_device_volte_available">true</bool>.
I can not find out whether it works or not, bcs my mobile operator doesnt provide VoLTE
