I don't have that icon and I always have auto rotate turned off.

not on the lock screen
You could install tap, tap and set the double tap on back to turn the screen off. Can't think of another way that would avoid the button on the side.

I use the Double Tap but not sure if it will run on Q or higher.
On Playstore, no ads, no internet connection, very small, uses almost no battery and runs flawlessly.
2X tap on/off; I rarely use the power button.

No ads, and doesn't connect to internet.
It say it had ads but my download didn't.
Sets option as device administrator but you don't need to activate that for it to work.

I optimized things a little more and went for Single Tap (haha). I'm using "Turn Off Screen" from the Play Store. Basically a nice little "Lock" icon on the home screen. Click... screen is off. 😉

I blew that one off because it connects with the internet. Has Administrator permissions, right?
Not a good idea if so.
Double Tap never connects and has no ads.

Currently "Turn Off Screen (Lock Screen)" is running great and has "No Permissions Granted".
