id rather have a unicolor screen vs a slower phoneI'm running an 800mV kernel right now, with SetCPU at 806mhz...
...I've had the phone unplugged and have been doing normal/daily use. 12 hours and I'm at 72%

excuse me???Anyone use F.lux for their PC? The shade actually makes it a lot easier on the eyes at night. I would use this purely for the yellowish taint one at night times. Thanks would be great if it is included in one of the more widespread roms or be available as an .apk.
Eeks, that's what I get for posting at 3:21amexcuse me???
lolz
I dont get why anyone would trade a great looking for screen for a unicolor one just for one more day of battery life.....
Red = Redfile this thread under awful.
why not go greyscale instead of being forced into a duotone, acid freakout screen environment.
anyone who finds this battery saving technique cool needs to seriously get some professional help.

But if the choice is no phone at all, or one with a red tint for two more hours, I'll take the red tint.My thoughts exactly...

I don't really understand why people are having such a problem understanding why this could be useful. No-one is suggesting you use your phone in this way as the norm, but some of us are stranded away from chargers for long periods of time. If you end up finding out you're going to be stranded away for another 4 hours and you're already on 20% and need to use your phone a lot still, this could be useful.
