Downgrade from pie to nougat (f800k)?

Hi

I am on pie and want to downgrade to Nougat because of horrible battery life. Does anyone know if it is possible easily via LG UP & Uppercut and giving it the .kdz file or do I need to have the dev version of LG UP?

I am asking this because I read somewhere that pie will upgrade the policies and downgrading from pie won't be easy/possible. It would brick the phone. I know to downgrade from oreo is easy but does anyone have an idea of downgrading from pie?

Yes you need the dev one to downgrade from pie.

By "dev version", are you referring to the modified one that allows you to upgrade and downgrade with no issues? I believe it has the modified .dll.

Yes you need the dev one to downgrade from the pie.

Can you please please point the dev version of LG UP post because I tried finding in the forum and found different ones.

And I believe the rest of the steps for the downgrade are similar as to upgrade, there is no complicated process involved. Am I right?

Try searching LGUP DUAL MODE. It should on be on the top of the list..
For me (f800l) the step sometimes a little bit not standard. But it could be different from your device. Try that lgup dual mode first.
