If somebody like me is searching for the stock image file, it's MD5 hash is bef86698cafc88ca03fff5758571d9d6. Googling for it I found this thread on the Modaco Forums, where the image file can be downloaded.

I have just restored from ERE72 to ERD79 using the steps described here... Let's look if I'll get the actual Eclair OTA ;)

Just out of sheer luck...I ended up downloading an EPE76 (http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Passion (Nexus One)/) release after getting all those "version" errors from the boatloader...AND IT WORKED! Wow this just blew my mind. EPE76 brought me to Eclair 2.1 update 1, with baseband ending in 4.04.00.03_2. I'm going to try and get back down to ERD79; hopefully this will help those who ran into the same issue as me.

**EDIT: After coming down to EPE76, it seems that I may be a bit screwed. In order to upgrade back to FRF50, I need to have ERE27 installed prior...which I cannot downgrade to for some reason. Anyone found a way to do this with a locked phone?**

Sadly that doesn't work. I seem to be at one of the latest "leaked" Eclair ROMs (EPE76 and then EPF30). The only way to upgrade as I've learned is to wait for the FroYo OTA to hit, which will hopefully be soon. Thanks for the help.

Samsung i5800 Galaxy 3

Hello all,

I need your help, please...

I tried to upgrade my mobile from Android 2.1 (Eclair) to 2.2 (Froyo) on your Samsung GT I5800, and after I plug-in the the phone to ODIN , and click start. The phone start to load and it takes over than (30 mins).

I though that mobile or program got frozen, uplug the device.

I an unable to start the phone, when I use the "Power" button, no display.

What to do to solve this problem, please?

Thank you in advance...
