What a saviour, with ZTE, their issues in the USA and images disappearing from their web sites.
I'm in Australia, unpacked the Axon 7 (A2017G) , it was on Android 6 .. hit update and came back with "no network found" and so no OTA to Android 7, put the B04 file on an sd card, told it to look for an update, it found it on the SD card, and it reflashed fine so now on Nougat B04.


Problem is now the security patch level is March 2017 …. now to find the latest security patch files somewhere which hopefully will load just as easily ...… HELP!!!!

Oreo ….think I will wait until an easily flashable version is out, don't want to root the phone or go custom ROM as phones do get handed down in families.


Hope ZTE get back on track, great products if it wasn't for the USA saga.

What's the most up-to-date stock ROM for the Australian A2017G?

My current OS (AEX) is causing GPS and call problems so need to go back to the stock, but I'm unsure which download I need to get the latest possible version.

Hello, thanks for sharing all the files! I have an unlocked, rooted Axon 7 with a custom rom, but like to try a stock rom again to see how it performs.

Can I install the original zips just using TWRP? And if that is possible, is my phone after doing that comoletely original again?

After flashing the .3-0 the phone won't boot into recovery !
So I will stay on 2-1

Tested those things out first and it does reboot into recovery. Did that when on twrp3.2.1-8 treble to trwp3.2.3-0 and from twr32.1-0 to twrp3.2.3-0.
So no problem there for me
Do mind this will affect your internal storage/data ! So always take a full backup when doing so depending on what you're doing.

stupid question from a guy that has no clue about flashing phones.
Basically my phone is stuck at stock mm b06 and ota updates are not working; if i want to update to nougat can i just put a nougat update.zip on a sd card or do i need to go through other versions of mm first? I don;t need rooting , just stock os

I saw that for every version there are 3 tipes of files
A2017G-N-B01
A2017G-N-B01 stock recovery
A2017G-N-B01 boot
wich one do i use and what are the others for?

@tdm mentioned that LineageOS 15.1 will go into Official builds on Monday, so expect official 8.0 Oreo soon.

I tried these two files but they don't seem to work.
When flashing everything looks the same as B10 but the progressbar does not fill up and nothing gets installed.
I tried twrp 3.1.1.0 and 3.2.3.0, same result.

I am on 7.1.1 SL!M (b12) and I would like to upgrade to Oreo build.
There so many files on the frontpage so I am confused which one to flash .

Should I flash with EDL or with recovery? and which file??
