Download Music Info ( Security Error) - SOLVED : Updated - Relock Bootloader

The users who have unlocked their bootloader by official method, they are suggested to relock their bootloader before go through the further steps.
The users are can relock their bootloader by flashing "Xperia_Relock_bootloader.ftf" by using flashtool.
After relock bootloader you can proceed for the next steps.

With relocked bootloader, you can able to claim warranty again, can update through SUS or PC companion or OTA.


I saw many users are complaining for Download music info(security error) in latest walkman mod in Pranav110089's and Till-Kruspe's thread.
When i flashed that mod i also got the error massage. So, here i going to share how i recover from that error.
First of all I say that this is not a problem of walkman mod. the main reason for the problem is unlocking boot loader by official method causes loosing DRM keys.
After unlocking the boot loader by official method, everything is working fine but only problem is stock Track ID is stop working.
The new walkman mod - download music info works depend on Track Id. So, if Track ID application is not working any more
then download music info shows the error massage "Security Error".

HOW TO SOLVE :

1. At very first download and flash ThilinaC walkman ICS U4 mod by using CWM. In ThilinaC walkman mod, there is all DRM files are include
which was losted after unlocking bootloader by official method. Here a Big thanks and all credits for "ThilinaC" for his awsome work.

After flashing ThilinaC walkman ICS U4 mod , the stock Track ID application should works again.

2. Now flash the Pranav110089"s latest walkman mod as he described step by step.
Download music info and facebook music like with track ID link should works now.

Note:
Clear dalvik cache before flashing.
Tested on stock firmware .587 (SK17i)
must have stock Track Id Application. ( if dont have then download and move it to system/app by root explorer and give permission rw-r-r )

is it enough to copy libdrmtestengine.so to /system/lib/drm/ or need to install complete ThilinaC walkman ICS U4 mod?

I have already tried to copy the file to system/lib/drm. But its not works for me. That's why I suggest to flash the full walkman mod from Thilinac.

still cant download credrntialManagerService giving me FC when i try to download music info

Try this fix:

1. Move CredentialManagerService.apk from /system/app to your SD card.
2. Reboot your phone.
3. Move back CredentialManagerService.apk from SD card to /system/app
4. Change permissions to rw-r-r
5. Reboot your phone.

Worked for me after I "reinstalled" the CredentialManagerService.apk. Good luck!

Note: You might want to clear data for Download music info just in case. I did that, but I don't know whether that helped.

yup track id is working for me but Music Info is not working... Remove ur old track id and install new one from google play...

Download the walkman U4 mod by Thilinac from the given link by me. Now copy it on your desktop
then open it by using winrar( dont extract, only open ). now go to data/app and delete the beats.apk. now close the winrar with save changes. now copy the modified Walkman U4 mod to your sd card and flash it by using CWM.
You work is done, no more beats mod.
