It works for me (I'm on windows 8.1 Update 1 on my PC and on Android 4.4.2 on my Galaxy S4 GT-I9505)

Thanks for sharing this, I installed it but once I get connected to device via Wifi my Phone reboot also the app on my windows 8.1 disappear from the screen, i can see the icon on task bar but clicking it don't show its window :S . Tried USB mode same story phone get rebooted

Working just nice on windows 7 64 bits and galaxy s4 i9500 with omega rom v20
first open de pc app then open the phone app. Then seleect galaxy s4 on the pc app
done

I am on windows 8.1 and Phoenix ROM v8 on my i9505 but i just get this Error on the PC and after that the phone gets out of the black screen and gives settings error

On stock i9505 works well on both wifi and usb (less lag on usb though). After 30 min of usage phone gets very hot, but it is normal i guess because of the high data transfer and the fact that it keeps the phone awake.

And what pisses me off?? When someone in How to/manual/tutorial etc writes "set permissions". HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW HOW?! There are many combinations like RWXRWX--- ---RW---X etc. Can someone give correct permissions?

absolutely not working on galaxy note 2 specially after kitkat update even samsung app store dosnt showing it at all available for download so i tried this version but it wont connect and freezes the note 2 after it crashes

Sadly doesn't seem to be working with non TW based Roms.
Slimkat 4.4.2 here, com.sec.android.sidesync.source-1.apk doesn't get installed in any way and without the source app com.sec.android.sidesync30-1.apk is crashing when im trying to run it.

I suggest to use root explorer to copy files in zip to /Data/App - do not install them, then set permissions to 644(rw-r--r--), reboot. Run 1st on pc, then on phone.

just s small comment, there is already a freeware solution for this- MyMobiler (www.mymobiler.com). You have to be rooted, USB debugging enabled, for connection over WiFi, ADB wifi must be enabled.

could you show me the way to enable ADB. I can connect my phone and PC via wifi, but cannot do the same via USB. I enabled USB debug. thanks!

usually when you connect pc to phone and there is any app trying to use adb, a SuperSU pop-up appears, asking whether you want to allow grant it root access.
