Am I the only one who's annoyed that the volume buttons change media by default, instead of ring volume? Or am I retarded and missing something lol

Samsung broke the app a few days ago, wish they would hurry up and sort out a fix. My watch is pretty much useless currently, was working perfectly before other than the phone dropping the connection now and then. Now, while it will pair with the phone, it won't actually connect with the Gear plugin due to Samsung breaking it, so nothing gets pushed to the phone.

Word of the wise? ALWAYS wait a few days and check the recent reviews before updating ANY Samsung app. On the watch too. They break their apps a LOT. They broke the gear app in May, then the last update was the fix, that broke it even more lol. On the watch, a Health update a few weeks ago broke Health on the watch. You seriously can't make this sheet up! Sammy sucks, and their support is hell (not even kidding, they are the WORST). Selling my gear and getting one of the new Android wear watches when they come out.

The only things I've noticed are there rotate screen icon is different, no mic in Google search bar on home page ,and you can also long press on the search bar and it opens preferances,not sure that was always there?all cornors are rounded on all apps,and it feels so fast and snappy again,gestures feel perfect,on DP4 I felt I had to swipe up alot more then I should,but that's gone.this is with stock launcher non rooted also.

Don't know if it was in DP3 but it is in DP4.

Download the full factory image. Edit the flash-all.vat field with notepad and near the end take out the -w near the end and save it. That will stop the data wipe and save your settings and apps.

Make sure you save it.

The run the flash all bat file then reroot.

the only thing I noticed that is different is in deep E4 on the home screen on the Google search bar there's a microphone on the right side and in the latest developer preview that's gone that's the only thing I noticed and I have been searching anything hard though.

I can't get TWRP to temp load on ADP5 develop; to flash Magisk... try different USB port and reboot the computer. Anyone have any ideal how to gain root again?

I installed DP5 factory image with the "-w" removed. I can get twrp flashed and the phone will boot but when I flash Magisk 16.4 or 16.7 the phone hangs at the G logo loading screen. I left it sit for ~20 minutes and it never booted. I've narrowed it down to Magisk but can't figure out why that's breaking it. Any ideas?

Try a few hard restarts with the power button. I've seen a few other users with the same issue.

No dice. Tried hard restarting it about 10 times and still stuck at the G logo.

Then maybe try flashing the factory image again without the -w, boot up, install twrp, boot up, then go back to twrp and flash magisk :good:
