I've not noticed any differences really. How's battery life? Mine is even worsened with this DP.
Guess I'll have to factory reset when stable version will be released.
Nova has been fine for me. Zero glitches.I decided to test out the pixel launcher just to test it out. NOva hasn't updated in quite some time and the animations and the haptic feedback when using the beta was getting quirky. I think I'll be sticking with the pixel launcher for awhile until NOva starts updating again (doesn't seem likely) The animations and the new gesture navigation is just smoother. Sure i miss the gesture to bring down the quick settings and the icon customization but the glitches of nova lately has been disappointing. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hyperlinks are working fine for me in Android Messages.I just noticed that hyperlinks in Android Messages do not work. I have to copy and paste the text in to my browser. Anyone else having this issue? I'm on DP5 by the way.
It's weird I didn't have this issue on DP4. I guess I'll back up my messages and clear the data/cache and see if that fixes it.Hyperlinks are working fine for me in Android Messages.

I find the pixel launcher just a better fit overall. I keep trying Nova, but it doesn't last long and I'm right back on the pixel launcher. I can do without the extra features Nova brings for the nice feel of pixel launcher.I decided to test out the pixel launcher just to test it out. Why don't you think Nova will update? It's a hugely popular (and very profitable) launcher.I decided to test out the pixel launcher just to test it out. It's been quite awhile since nova had any major updates. Their last update was right after DP2 but they still have some issues that haven't been fixed in quite some time. The features and customizations are fantastic enough to overlook some of the small issues. Why don't you think Nova will update? It's a hugely popular (and very profitable) launcher.![]()

Have either of you tried Apex launcher? It was very similar to Nova last time I tried it, given that was a couple years ago then went back to Apex. I've been using it for years now and even the free version has quite a bit of customization. Can't say for sure that it works with the DP's without issue since I haven't tried it yet, but just a suggestion for another launcher to try. It's been quite awhile since nova had any major updates. I've tried it. Just recently actually. Years ago I did use it alot on my old Sony Xperias. Still, pixel launcher just nails it for me. Thx tho!Have either of you tried Apex launcher? I have emailed Nova support about this issue (still never eared from them) and I am too back to Pixel launcher till Nova updates with the proper improvements.I find the pixel launcher just a better fit overall. It might go away when all your apps are installed. Seems like I had the same issue when I installed. Can't totally recall.Just installed dp5 for first time. Does anyone have the this pixel set up icon that won't go away? I click it and says to restore apps but it won't restore anything.
I had to factory reset and connect to WiFi during set up. It's gone now. Didn't restore any apps tho...It might go away when all your apps are installed. Seems like I had the same issue when I installed. Can't totally recall.
Did you ever get this fixed? I'm having the same issues. No dice. Tried hard restarting it about 10 times and still stuck at the G logo.
Try the magisk version posted in Flash kernel thread (search last 3 pages)... It fixed the issue for meDid you ever get this fixed? I'm having the same issues.
