It was 10 minutes of letting the phone wait at the T Mobile white screen. It vibrated. 5 minutes later, the lights at the bottom of the phone flashed and initial setup appears. Came from stock MM, Auto CF, Odin TWRP 3.0, Wipe, Flash TWRP 3.02, Wipe, Flash the ROM, Flashed latest SU 2.74-2, no xposed. Getting ready to odin the beastmode kernel. Thanks for your reply. Prior to your post, I did the following:
1) Re-Odin'ed the factory to restore the factory kernel (from previously testing Freeza)
2) Odin'd TWRP 3.0.0, flashed TWRP 3.0.2, flashed TEK, SSu 2.74-2, Xposed-custom
I did the above knowing that I could just do a battery pull and everything will work thereafter. On the initial boot, the behavior was the same, hanging at the T-Mo splash screen. A few minutes later, I hear the phone vibrate briefly. Because of that, I decided to wait a bit longer. A few minutes later, the phone booted with the initial setup screen.
Mind you, I waited 40 minutes last night. Go figure......
It does. Can you confirm that beastmode kernel breaks wifi calling?

Sorry no att. Only n915tso this rom gets stuck at the t-mobile screen. tried the suggestion above where i flashed cok2 and then updated the software from settings. still stuck at t-mobile screen. i am on at&t btw. any other suggestions?
If you had a modified rom most likely that will happen. You have to backup, wipe everything and flashjust odin the original factory image, how long is this suppose to sit on the tmobile screen?
You can flash root from here.Hi TEkHD,
I appreciate you thinking about us by releasing this ROM. I unfortunately seemed to not have root. This is my only problem. What did I do wrong?
Thanks,

10 to 20 min but if longer you have to follow steps on earlier postsjust odin the original factory image, how long is this suppose to sit on the tmobile screen?
I'm only clarifying the previous poster's meaning--many of us use ATT service with the 915T. In this case, I believe it's just an extra piece of info that he/she is on ATT with the 915T. This has nothing to do with the boot stuck issue.Sorry no att. Only n915t
Very easy to do it yourself. Make sure your device is rooted and just installHow well does it work. I am happy as of these past couple of days with the battery life on stock MM. Of course I'd like to have root access and without all the bloat especially Facebook. Any words on this one. for the past month, I have changed ROMs like 6 times, each time wiping everything clean. It would be nice to just have a clean/bloatfree rooted ROM that gives me comparable battery life to KK and smoothness.
Oh lol! I get it now. Sorry my bad. Yeah on n915t works on att if unlockedHow well does it work. I am happy as of these past couple of days with the battery life on stock MM. Main reason to be afraid of removing stuff myself as opposed to picking a cleaned ROM by a pro like TekHD is because last time I did this, I removed Lookout scanner and my phone became laggier. It was smooth but after removing it, it became slower.Very easy to do it yourself. Make sure your device is rooted and just install

I understand. Well the app does a backup too before unistalling any system app.Main reason to be afraid of removing stuff myself as opposed to picking a cleaned ROM by a pro like TekHD is because last time I did this, I removed Lookout scanner and my phone became laggier. Which odin version you got? Also whaling twrp are joj trying to flash? Thanks Dreynam2,
Now I seemed to have lost CUSTOM RECOVERY.Now Odin just hangs and stops working when I try to flash TWRP. I tried using different USB ports and rebooting my PC. I was going to flash an older rom and start over. The rom is working great despite not having root. I appreciate your response!

Are you using the 6.0.1 ROM? Or did you root it yourself? If you did yourself how did you do it?I understand. Well the app does a backup too before unistalling any system app.
