DPI on Roms

Is it true that changing only works for Aosp/Aokp roms? Like cm7/9/10 ? Is there no way to let a sense rom running on 160 dpi?

I think it should be possible.. have you tried it through the app Android Tuner?

Switching Roms for testing something out sucks, my friends a keeping me stressed with messages ^^

Back then I read sth about an app called sth like DPI Manager/changer (sth like that). Can't remember the full name. Maybe that app can do that, but I don't really know.

Yeah, there are enough apps for that in market, but the last try on a sense Rom (ics, Sense 3.6.) everything was force closing, even after data/cache/dalvik wip. Trying now on Mikrunny v1.01
