It does not work on the S4 S600. Crashes to the menu when try to chose a game mode. I have tried different formats
and US, Euro and Japan rom versions. Exact same result so far.

US version worked for me and I played through story mode just fine. PAL and JP versions all crash after character selection for me. This is with Snapdragon 800 though.

Though the Limited Edition has more stuff, this will do fine
Be nice though if the same roms that load and work with the PC version did with Reicast sometime in the future

Hello from me too .... Yesterday received my shield and first thing to do was set up dreamcast emu. I am almost only interested in playing berserk (my favorite anime/manga as well) The game plays well no lags or anythings. There is no button for movement of the character even though at settings of emu found the shield controller. I mapped the left analog stick and it plays now, but its too disturbing the overlay buttons on the screen
Another issue i am facing is the widescreen ratio. when i enable it from the settings of emu left and right where there were borders now its only shaking colors. Has anyone else tried the same game or another with widescreen mode on and played correctly?

Hi all, i have tested many homebrews, but all tested games have white screen, are all cdi files??? What you think, all other games are working
I have trouble trying to play shenmue
I own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running 4.4.2 the device is not rooted. I have all files and reicast is running perfectly with sonic adventure 2, but when i try to play shenmue 1 it only plays the intro and reebots my phone once ryo gets up from bed. It always reebots in the same spot. The same goes with shenmue 2 when ryo gets off the boat always reboots my note 3. Somebody please help! !!

i have the sprint note 3 and both shenmues hang after boot screen and stays white. Anyone get it to work and what settings/version?

I tried lastest version (26 april 2014) but could not boot....
other games (crazy taxi ) run fine

Every time i start a game on reicast, a black screen appears and one second later it returns to the main menu.
I already tried different bios, none seemed to work. I'm running reicast on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10'1.

Has anyone gotten this to work on a Shield Tablet?? it keep saying I'M missing bios and flash files even though I have them in the folder its checking both renamed in lowercase.
It does work on Shield tablet. The bios file must be placed in /data in your internal storage. The directory you set that sounds like the bios files should be in is for VMU save files and other miscellaneous things.
My files are in the internal storage. Only my Roms are on my sd card. Any other ideas
Finally got it to recognized my bio files (Have to create a dc/data folder). But i am still have a problem where it wont run my SoA game. :crying:
I have both a Skies of Arcdia CDI and a GDI file neither work.
Also is there a way to resume the game after I put the shield tablet to sleep or stand by?
Once my shield tablet sleeps the game closes and goes back to the Reicast game browser window, losing all progress.

Mine does the same after sleep. It must be the way the emulator is programmed currently. As far as SoA goes, I don't have it and I've never tried it. Make sure the region of the copy you have is on the supported list, and maybe try the most recent build or reicast.

@ugoff - yes I have the latest beta installed and if that's the way the emulator works, where every time your device goes to sleep it closes out the game, that really makes the point of having mobile emulation kind of pointless. I thought it was a bug.
