I have an Otterbox Commuter case. I honestly don't use it much. I'm not big on phone cases of any kind. Is a great case and is easy to put on and take off.

Does anyone have the Motorola flip case?

Haven't been able to find many good pictures of it. Would appreciate it if someone could post some pictures.

I believe Diztronic is making a TPU case for the turbo. That's what I had on my G2, great case.

They are. Someone in this thread mentioned they emailed diztronic about making a case for the Turbo. Diztronic replied back and said in the next month or so. I was hoping diztronic would've released one maybe a week or 2 after launch. I've always loved they're cases. But I went with the tech21 case. Just sucks that the only color they had was smoke. Was really hoping they had tactical black. Ohh well. Loving my tech21 case.

Just a heads up for those defender users that remove the built in screen protector. I've always removed the built in screen protector on defenders since my first (iphone 4, 2010) because of their subpar optical characteristics. On some phones, the lack of having this screen protector means there is more slack and the phone may not fit in perfectly tight. Due to the extra thickness of the 64GB ballistic nylon, the device fits perfectly without the built in screen protector!

It does add a ton of bulk as one expects using a defender. I bet the phone would survive a drop down a silo, falling out of a pocket or saddle bag at highway speed, etc!

Most of the time inside I prefer to use it naked, but in the past I've always had a minimalist case for my devices. I'd be willing to bet the best case would be Diztronic for this role. Right now, the silicone case from Verizon looks to be the best bet. I may have to pick one up to carry me over until Amazon has the Diztronic.
so i plan on doing that same thing when my defender comes in. do you think there is room to fix a tempered glass screen protector underneath the edges?

I can't say for sure since I don't have one to try.
The plastic will give, it will probably be a tight snap fit for sure.
One thing's for sure is you're going to want to make sure everything is perfectly clean because once those two plastic pieces "click" together getting them apart will be a challenge! Definitely need a small (jeweler's) screw driver 'cuz a nail isn't going to cut it for sure! ;)

After a few weeks of the phone being out, I've noticed that there's a very limited number of manufacturers producing cases for the turbo; to the extent I can count the number of cases available for it with my fingers. Hopefully it'll change once the moto maxx becomes more available. It's a great device but at the moment it's such a 'niche' device, ruined by Verizon and their exclusivity. But if there are new release please post!

The Tudia looks nice as well, it should be available in about a week on Amazon.

I picked up the silicone case from Verizon and it fits well and is much slimmer than the Tech21.
It should protect fine, no worries about sitting the device down and picking up dirt on the nylon or scratching the screen if it's placed face down and the cat runs across it spinning it around 50 times, LOL!
fyi, the Amazon page for the Tudia cover says it does not work with the Ballistic Nylon version. Mine shipped before I saw that so I guess I'll find out for myself soon.
