Looks great! Did the structure become flimsy at all after cutting out the back?
Naturally it loses a bit of structure, but since it was already a tight fit with the BN it ends up being fine. When I first started, I knew the risk and I was just gonna throw it away if it came out too floopy. I already got a refund from amazon and they told me to keep the case, so it was free. The Tudia actually fit my BN fine, a little tight but great after some massaging. I'm gonna keep it on until a dedicated bumper is released. Like my lady, It looks so much better with the back out!

Employee Edition... nice.
By far the best looking Turbo IMO!

Has anyone tried this yet?

Luxury-Flip-Leather-Stand-Case-Wallet-Cover-Skin-For-Motorola-Droid-Turbo-XT1254 on Ebay (Can't link, noob status)

Looks just like the Poetic FlipBook for the Moto-X, could be their factory in China.....should I roll the dice?

Since a lot of people have been emailing us (Diztronic) asking when our case is going to be released and if it will fit both versions of the Droid Turbo, I wanted to post on XDA to let you guys know whats going on.

We originally hoped to be able to make 1 case that would work for both versions, but it just didn't work. Well technically it did work, but it was too loose on the Kevlar model. We will be releasing 2 sizes, one for Kevlar and one for Ballistic Nylon. This is the reason why it's taking us a little longer, as we didn't want to rush to market like some competitors did and have a case that doesn't work. So coming out first will be our case for the Kevlar version, and that should be as soon as next week. Then our case that will work for the Ballistic Nylon Droid Turbo will follow about 2 weeks later, so mid December. Thanks for your patience!
Thanks for coming to the forums and keeping us updated. I've used Diztronic for both my Gnex and my S4 and have been very pleased with the products. It's too bad all of us with the BN version will have to wait longer (same with other case makers too), but I think I'll be okay another couple of weeks.

The high-gloss 19.99 Verizon case is the best case currently available for the ballistic nylon version if you like no-frill-thin cases.

i really wanted just a bumper. ........so I made my own lol! Started with a Tudia Ultra Slim and cut the back out with a razor blade. I like it! Total cost $10.00 :)
Rx2, is the top and bottom of the case thick enough that even after the back is cut the lens/back does not touch the surface? Thanks.

Yes, when on a flat surface the back of the phone doesn't touch. I had another member pm me and said he tried to do it and ruined the case. If your not good with a razor blade it will be challenging Lol. Fwiw, I added the paper thin double sided tape inside along the sides of the case. Now it is super right on the phone everywhere. Looks like a real bumper

Is there going to be a clear model? I love the look of the back, but really would like to go to a TPU material.

Just got my Tudia from Amazon today. Will be trying to make the bumper sometime this week. Any tips?

Also, the sides of the case are a bit ambiguous when it comes to where to cut. and you really have to be careful around the power and volume buttons. How much space did you leave for them? Hard to tell from the pictures.
