In this thread, You can share the Mega-Links of new firmware's (OFFICIAL STOCK) for the Galaxy Note8 (so: NO CUSTOM ROM's and/or ROOT-talk)...

How to flash firmware to your phone:

1. Extract (un-rar) the firmware file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin) ***
2. Download Odin v3.13.1
3. Extract Odin ZIP file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin)
4. Open Odin v3.13.1
5. Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Bixby + Power + Volume Down buttons)
6. Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
7. Add the firmware files to their designated slots
8. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
9. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

This ROM is the latest ROM for Multi-CSC OXM released 15 Oct 19, and can be used for ALL CSC's mentioned in Multi-CSC OXM!
This is official Samsung ROM, so KNOX won't be triggered!

Change CSC for i.e. use Samsung Pay

Your data will stay intact, but it's possible you get "com.android.***** has stopped" -> Then a Factory Reset is needed (in Recovery)!

The European model of the Note8 (SM-N950F) will get a Multi-CSC -> OXM

This Multi-CSC was already used in the Note 7, and will now be continued on the Note8

If you use Home_CSC, it won't wipe.

I would NOT recommend to flash AQI8 (BRI) over AQI4 (CHO):

That'll will result in "COM.SEC.EPDG has stopped"!

Your device will become IN-responsive, and hard to get in "Download"-mode again to flash previous FW (AQI4) again...

NO, you can't. This thread is for the N950F only and the Verizon model is a N950U which is based on the Snapdragon 835.

If you want an unbranded firmware on your Verizon phone, you can try flashing the N950U1 firmware.

No.

TGY doesn't use the N950F Note 8, the Chinese / HK variant is sold there with the N9500 model number.

Just got it yesterday and also turned it onto this this morning. The OTA's on my S7 Active over on AT&T completely and eventually thrashed my phone and was eventually unusable. So I'm waiting.

You can't use SWC and OXM at the same time, you'll have to switch to the OVF firmware.

N950FXXU1AQI1 / N950FOVF1AQI1 / N950FXXU1AQHB / N950FXXU1AQI1 would be the latest firmware for the SWC CSC that you can flash over your current firmware. It'll include CSC and HOME_CSC. Do NOT use HOME_CSC when switching from OXM to OVF, you'll have to choose the normal CSC file, which will wipe your phone.
However, this would be if you had a Vodafone SIM card, not sure why you're doing it with an O2 SIM card.

The latest DBT firmware can be found using Updato or SamFirm.
