Is it possible to convert the global version to a dual sim if you get like the dual sim tray from the chinese version and put it inside the global phone and work with both sims?
Or you need other things like a custom rom that enables the 2nd sim? I find it very curious why they opted for the single sim tray for the global version considering that i don't think they did any modification under the hood of the phone.
For me it's horrible going from a dual sim phone to a single sim considering that most of the people have one personal sim and one for work
I bought on ebay the double sim tray for around 5$. The stock global rom is locked to single sim, but with a different rom it recognises both sims and both work on lte network.
It was clear since i saw the single sim tray...
Currently i'm on miuimix stable and i use 2 sims flawlessly.
On ebay there are trays matching the original mi10 colours, only thing is that when the tray arrives has a film protection so the colour looks different, but when you pull off the protection film it is perfect.

i got mine from aliexpress even with the film foil on, as i removed the foil .... unfortunately there is a huge difference in color
I got my dual sim tray from aliexpress. There was a gold colored foil on top. I removed the foil and the color of the dual sim tray exactly match the factory one. I got the Solstice Grey version. Dual sim work perfectly with the European ROM.

Someone told they cannot use Eea version, someone can. Im waiting for unlock bootloader and need confirm, or just go with India version.
Can't confirm for sure because I'm waiting for my dual SIM tray but on Xiaomi.eu rom I have two IMEI numbers.
.eu room should dual, its base on china rom. I will try with eea in next saturday
Hello, I've just converted my Global Version into Dual Sim by flashing Eu.rom. Everything works smoothly but 5G.... Does anyone have an idea ?
Could you try with India Stable? I saw the 5g inside but cannot test it, my telco doesn't support right now?
I I can't find the Indian Rom anywhere... Can you please help me....

I can confirm everything works fine with xiaomi.eu ROM.
I paid 5$ for this sim tray and it looks 1:1 like original. Everything is exactly the same.
