You only need to buy a double sim tray, and yes, as already said above, stock global/eeu rom is locked to one sim, so you need to install xiaomi.eu/miuimix/miglobe/china. If anyone wants to keep using a single sim because on the box there's written one imei only, well, free to stick with that.

This is MIUI 11. We have miui 12 on eu rom now.

Locking bootloader is fine when going from Global to India rom. But if you do not have safetynet issues then I guess it doesn't matter. My banking apps won't work with unlocked bootloader.
