But my device is 8t T Mobile converted. I have just pached to different IMEIs on both Sim slots.
Just go ahead and update to stable, you would be fine as much as I know..
And update us asap if one sim working or both
How did you patch to different IMEI's? I have an 8T KB2005 as well that I would gladly try one of the IMEI's from it in the second SIM slot of my KB2007.
QPST as far as I know but I have never bothered to attempt that method. I don't have access to my main PC until mid January because I am away for the holidays.
Just wanted to thank ghost.ign for this information as I was stuck on Android 11 (KB2003) for a long time on my One Plus 8T Tmobile Version (KB2007). Recently I had an app demanding the "Nearby Devices" setting which was not available in Android 11. I had found out at my expense that Android 12 would no longer support dual SIM.
The 13 Beta 1 India version (KB2001) (The only available I believe) is working just fine. Thank you for the link. I only had to rename the file to remove the .jar and go to .zip
Thank you also for the tip about using the Nova Launcher as the OnePlus was indeed crashing after the update. Everything works better than when I was on 11 and I only have to recreate my main screen shortcuts but all my data is safe.
Honestly I cannot yet find a better phone (hardware wise) than the 8T. In the future I'll probably buy the international version to avoid these issues with dual sim.

Your main SIM is T-Mobile. Who is your second SIM with? T-Mobile works best with NR/LTE/TDSCDMA/GSM/WCDMA from my experience. My second SIM is for Telus in Canada. I lost 5G on that SIM moving to the Android 13 beta 1 unfortunately where it worked fine on the Android 11 EU build I was on before upgrading. Both SIM's still work though in DSDS.
My main sim is with T mobile also. The second one is from TIM (Italy) and I keep data roaming off while I'm in the US so I don't really mind only having 4G. In fact I don't remember having 5G before. Small price to pay for everything else for me but thank you for clarifying, it may be important to others.
I just did accidently and the second sim is disabled. Trying to rollback requires activating developer mode (click five times on Android version) but then when trying to load the same firmware linked above, I get verification failed.
Install the rollback package through this app you would be fine... And there's difference between rollback and upgrade package.. download your desired rollback package first.. if you need any kinda further help just comment below i would love to help you

2This really isn't so bad. I still prefer the look of Android 11, which this definitely doesn't have, but it's very functional. WiFi Calling and VoLTE works on T-Mobile USA perfectly. Dual-SIM is enabled for my KB2007. Nova Launcher works amazing with it. 5G NSA and 5G SA on T-Mobile work perfectly.
I haven't debloated it yet because I wanted to get a feel for it although I did remove the trash that it allowed me to uninstall with just a tap. Theme Store, Google Pay, Feedback, HeyTap Cloud, Games, Files, and Weather are going to be the first to go after using ADB to disable the system updater so it doesn't nag that there is an update available. Telus 5G now seems missing but I won't be back up in Canada for at least 6 months to actually test more for my second SIM. There are little bugs here and there but nothing that has annoyed me yet. For some reason, Package Name Viewer in portrait mode has a big white circle on the bottom that covers part of the screen that doesn't go away unless moved into landscape mode. That has probably been the worst of the bugs I have noticed so far.
Anyone with a KB2007 that needs the dual-SIM enable and is tired of being over a year out of date with security patches. I would highly recommend installing this. The Android Security Patch is September 5th 2022.1
Unavailable on KB2005, must be same on KB2001 as well... I guess it was a flaw in their Beta 1 build that got fixed1
