Where do you live? If you purchased your phone in the US, you likely have a Snapdragon. Elsewhere? You likely have an Exynos chipset.

This is the instruction for Pie, do it yourself
backup /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml first before editing it

add these line to

<path name="media-speaker">

to make it looks like this:

Original:

	<path name="media-speaker">
		<path name="route-spkamp-playback" />
		<path name="dev-speaker" />
	</path>

Modified:

	<path name="media-speaker">
		<path name="route-spkamp-playback" />
[COLOR="Red"]	    <path name="route-playback" />
	    <path name="dev-handset" />[/COLOR]
		<path name="dev-speaker" />
	</path>

Same with me. Im at Pixel Experience ROM and having sudden restart n then bootloop after change permission.

Make sure you are using the SNAPDRAGON version here...https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3677719

And manually copy the mixer file into place (rename original with ".bak" at end of file name in case of issue)
Set permissions and reboot.
I recommend using Root Explorer over esfile etc

I assume you're rooted.
Did you Copy the file first with Root Explorer....then navigate to etc folder? Did you grant Root Explorer root access?

after following all the guide and rebooted my device, the old .xml file is back again.

Do you have any Solution to it ?
