I did not change anything yet. My phone variant is the H815 & soft version - v20p-eur.

Me too. H815 and default kernel setting. Anyway I had now a fresh battery. I'll see if the problem will happen again and in that case I'll post logcat.

Hi,

I tried to install Imperium Rom G4 v14.2 on my LG G4 (H815).
Unfortunately, it doesn't work because whereas the installer said install is successfull, my phone bootloops endlessly.
It's not an hardware bootloop, if I install another rom (for example Genisys 4.9) it boots and works perfectly.
What should I do to have a working version of Imperium which seems very promising?

I had similar problem. Don't know what rom you're currently on but install lg stock rooted 20v rom first to flash bootstack and modem to 20v version. Just be aware you will also get antirollback v3 with it so you won't be able to roll back to LP. You only need to do that but to avoid brick you better off going with full rom. Once you boot it up, go back into twrp erase ALL including internal storage but not sd card. Install then imperium. Since you will be on 20v version of bootstock and modem it will install just fine. Your issue most likely is bootstack does not match imperium rom.

@kessaras it says clearly on first page in rom's description and i quote:"Camera quality mod". It just DOES NOT say what kind of mod it is.
The way i read and it was previously when it says camera QUALITY it reffers to jpge quality. 60fps is in seperate line so that reffers to camcorder fps mod.

btw can you use and replace the libs on MM for denoise ?

Again, empty battery, the phone is not able to shutdown properly by itself. And, of course, it is not able to boot again. Any update to solve this problem avoiding wiping another time? I'm quite disappointed and very sad

Thank you sir. I just viewed your rom xml file and it is there. Thank you for implementing that. I'm assuming it's working. I noticed that for 100% jpg size will be around 5-8MB but i took a selfie and it was 1.2MB
That could be to the fact that there isn't enough image data in selfie for this jpg to be at 7MB like there would be in mountain shot for example. I'm assuming that's the difference but i also did jpg snoop and it seem it's holding up to it's claim, i think hehe. This is great mod. I may bump Mbps rate to 40Mbps not 36Mbps in xml file. There was entire section dedicated to it in LP roms and even denoise reduction as well. But at the time there was some issue for implementing it in MM and it wasn't. If it's only mod in xml file then that's easy. My impression was there was more to be done.

Regarding the problem of improper shutdown on empty battery. I had a fresh new battery. This night phone ran out power and this morning it went on regularly. I'll update you on next events, but o think that the problem was related to aged battery and not to the rom. My apologize to @slim80

It sure isn't rom related and neither kernel related because mine never had this issue. And you know that even if one phone works fine this means the rom and kernel are fine.
Slim's kernel is very good. I used many branches in my rom-kernel too.
It's more related to magisk and magisk modules or substratum or a 3rd party app.
So if the phone does the same thing with the new battery don't panic and blame the kernel.
This notice is for everyone.

Guys I've a question about the alarm clock : I've tried to set an alarm through the original app but if the device is shut down it doesn't work.
I read that some brands like the Chinese ones or Samsung from the Note III had introduced the possibility to ring also if the smartphone is off but LG seems not, anyone knows if there's an app that is able to start the phone at a specific time?
Because a workaround could be power our H815 some minutes before the alarm would be active..

Magisk to pass safetynet and if stock props don't pass safetynet , install module with props to pass safetynet
