Prerequisites

1. Download and install Samsung Kies (drivers)
2. Enable USB debugging on your device

Instructions

1. Unzip the file using the password above
2. Run Odin3 v1.85.exe
3. Click 'PDA' and select PDA_TeamleaderV1.3.tar
4. Connect the E120L to the computer via USB, and turn the device off.
5. Hold down [volume down] + [home button] + [power button] until you are presented with this screen.
6. Press [Volume up] to enter coal mining mode
7. Click 'Start' in Odin, it may start automatically

After Team Leader 1.3 has been installed

If the keyboard does not come up for you after flashing the ROM, change to Swype, and Baidu Input will start working when you switch back to it. Appears to be a minor bug.

Install a program like Titanium Backup to get rid of the bloatware.

Will this teamleader ROM work after having upgraded the phone to ICS Android 4.03? I've just bought the E120L and have the same problem with SMS messages. I got round the 80 character limitation by using Go SMS but I still can't tell who my SMS messages are from unless people sign them! Every SMS I receive says 'unknow'. I'm reluctant to use this ROM after being automatically updated to Android 4.03 by the update software. I don't want to lose ICS but would like to solve the SMS problem. Thanks.

Clearning Sim Lock on SHV-E120L

A quick question. My E120L is SIM locked by korea telco. Will this help to clear the SIM lock after flashing this ROM?

I installed TL 1.3 and when phone turned on its at the 'touch the android to begin' but google framework keeps FC and i cant do anything. Tried reflashing but still same problem. Also the Recovery Menu is not working, phone boots normally on volume up + home + power. Please help

Sometimes you need to factory reset the device straight after flashing it, for the ROM to work properly. It is definitely the E120L?

Yes its working now, i was using Volume Up + Home + Power but E120L recovery mode is on Volume Up + Volume Down + Power :silly:

Hi,

I followed the instruction for SHV-E120L for my phone. I was able to follow up to the end of the instruction but it gave me series of framework (FC) and i cannot do anything on the phone. I followed the same thing that the other forumer did and flash it again. I was then able to at least setup the phone but it is giving me error process com.android.phone has stopped and the other one is for calendar. I disabled the calendar on Settings but the phone prompt is still there and my phone appears to be in a loop as it look like it is booting as icons starts to appear on the upper part of the phone then it goes back screen lock.

When I connected it to Kies, Kies automatically upgrade it to the latest firmware (uf11 - this is my phone's original version before I follow the instruction above).

Any idea on what to do as the phone is unusable now.

hi guys, first time to flash a rom

questions though before i do it..will this work on my newly upgraded s2 e120L? i updated it through kies.
my concern is it might brick the phone as it doesnt says here that it is also for ICS or GB..

the tutorial is very understandable and theres even video tutorial but i am probably just afraid of doing it..

Today i upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE to version 4.1.2 through Kies!!! Whoopee! I was just about ready to throw the phone out of the window, after trying 3 different ROMs, with no luck in solving the blasted SMS issue.
