Cant find other thread about this but this is for when your phone speaker the one on the front above the screen is too quiet.....
Check your notification light. If its dim there's lots of dust behind the grill.
Try compressed air to blow the dust out
if you need to disassemble phone to clean dust.
If speaker simply does not work they are like a dollar on eBay.. most HTC use the same part, I couldn't. Find a dhd one so. Got one for hd2
Original speaker was fine, just clogged with dust totally clogged
