Take a break mate. I think its still too early to worry about how the apps will be installed.

Let the campaign end without issues first and Omate receive the funds and swing into production and then worry about this.

Here is another possibility that I will look into. If it works out would be the easiest by far.

CWM ROM MANAGER

If that allows to show only packages for the defined platform (omate) we could simply offer the packages here.

Omate would just need to pre-install AND configure this one app.

Rom manager requires root to reboot into recovery and flash zips. I just read through the 3 pages here, and that was my thought too, but I think the commands that Rom Manager use are private, as I've asked before in rom threads how to make an app that would just reboot into recovery and flash something, and got that reply. Maybe Koush could help with that?

Your going to need root to get ROM Manager to make the phone reboot into recovery.

EDIT-writing posts at about the same time. LOL
Sure it needs root. That's why it only works when Omate installs it as a system apk. :)

Whatever we come up with, it will only work, if Omate cooperates with us. That's why I said, I wait to see if Omate joins this thread. If not, I won't invest any more time.

I can make a boot animation if you guys want me to. I imagine they already have a splash figured out.
