Easiest Way to Adjust Volume?

Just bought this for my pop's, he was wondering what the easiest way would be to adjust volume, instead of manually digging through 2-3 menu's. Is there a way to adjust the volume from the pull-down menu? TIA!

EDIT: He uses the ZE551KL if that matters.

Use the volume keys on the back of the device under the camera.
