I was seeking for a method to root my Moto G LTE on 4.4.4 (peregrine) and everybody says that i need a Unlocked Bootloader, but i'm on Cricket so it's impossible, motorola unlock website says that i'm not elegible to unlock. So I a try Kingo Root and it worked!

My method:
1.A Moto G 4.4.4 and PC
2.USB cable
3.ADB drivers installed
4.USB depuration activated
5. Kingo Root (i can't post links, GIYF)
6.Open Kingroot connect the phone Click Root Button and wait....
7.Profit?

Update: it's inestable and lost root on reboot. And i can't mount RW system.

Sorry for my english I'm just a mexican guy who barely managed to finish the college after the Black Mesa incident :B

Ok I used the latest King root app on my xt1028 on 4.4.4 and it worked but the system is write protected. Sunshine doesn't support it so how do I get xposed to work?

Does not work with Cricket. App says I had root, but had no root functionality. SU in shell doesn't work seconds after the app said I had root.

su not found

Next time I tried it, its said root failed. This was a last hope attempt at rooting this phone. It had potential, but ATT (cricket) is greedy so they locked our bootloaders. they were scared because they thought we would tether internet. Screw ATT

Hoping autoprime finds out how to unlock, or releases his root

EDIT: After multiple attempts, it actually works!

With this temp root, maybe we can force perm root?

works on republic wireless XT1031 Falcon. may take a few tries and a few reboots.

edit: it also seems temporary. only lasts minutes
