Having an issue. I flashed the rom, Followed the directions 100%, been flashing for years, so not a rookie, The phone is stuck at the Samsung galaxy note 3 screen, and at the top in blue letters it says recovery booting... Been like this for about 8 minutes now. Now i can't get back into the bootloader even after a 2 minute battery pull.

After yelling, cursing, and pointing at the phone, it went back into bootloader mode, reflashed with odin now it's working. now to finish the other steps

Go back into download mode again, hook it back up to your comp, and odin stock firmware again, then a custom recovery.

Why not use kies? After 2 flashes via odin and still having issues, I went with kies "firmware upgrade and initialisation" and now totally problem free.

Kies didnt work for me...

I get "MD5 Error" " & "Hash invalid"
Excellent guide TEKHD. I was getting the MD5 Error too and file corrupt when unzipping using WinRar and 7Zip on my laptop. The only way I got it to work was to view this thread from my Asus tablet and download the files and unzip them with FX File Explorer then transfer them to my laptop and follow your guide for Odin and it worked. Then it hung at the T-Mobile screen, rebooted back into twrp and cleared cache and booted fine. Thank you sir, you are a life saver.

Does the stock KK has built in Google spell check where the system underline the spelling mistakes? If not is there a mod somewhere to get this feature enabled?

Yes, if you guys already have stock kitkat... Yes, you can go directly to step 4... No problem at all...

The CF Auto root file for the N900T was last updated on the morning of March 21st.

Has anyone downloaded it since then and tried to root KK with it? Still encountering the "recovery booting" bootloop (which seems to be fixed by flashing the file a second time)? Or does it seem to work okay now?

Thanks

Followed all of the steps to upgrade and root my friends n3, after odin ing the recovery I got stuck on the reboot.message recovery not seandroid enforced
after googling the error it seems that the recovery file I used was a 4.3 recovery not a 4.4.my question is that the Philz thread says that the 6.0+ files work with 4.4 but I had flashed the 6.12.8 file and still got this error.looking around some more it seems that now the hltemo is not the correct file and we should use the 6.25.0hlte version, via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2595995 can anybody confirm this? At the moment I cannot access recovery at all, just download mode, and it's my friends phone so I want to try to get everything lined up for when he comes over again. Can I odin the 6.25.0 file to get recovery and then flash ROM file? Will reflashing(odin) the stock nb4 file get the stock recovery back? I have tried both the 6.12.8 and the 6.08.7 file from Philz goo.Im site and neither one get past the seandroid message.
@iBowToAndroid used the mentioned cf-auto root on my friends phone and it worked fine, burrently on the official nb4 4.4 rom, rooted, but no custom recovery.
