Followed all of the steps to upgrade and root my friends n3, after odin ing the recovery I got stuck on the reboot.message recovery not seandroid enforced
after googling the error it seems that the recovery file I used was a 4.3 recovery not a 4.4.my question is that the Philz thread says that the 6.0+ files work with 4.4 but I had flashed the 6.12.8 file and still got this error.looking around some more it seems that now the hltemo is not the correct file and we should use the 6.25.0hlte version, via
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2595995 can anybody confirm this? At the moment I cannot access recovery at all, just download mode, and it's my friends phone so I want to try to get everything lined up for when he comes over again. Can I odin the 6.25.0 file to get recovery and then flash ROM file? Will reflashing(odin) the stock nb4 file get the stock recovery back? I have tried both the 6.12.8 and the 6.08.7 file from Philz goo.Im site and neither one get past the seandroid message.
@iBowToAndroid used the mentioned cf-auto root on my friends phone and it worked fine, burrently on the official nb4 4.4 rom, rooted, but no custom recovery.
