Link/download worked for me. Although i forgot to move it to root, so the install failed. Battery is now low and don't want to risk the install until it is charged.

Will update when i get it charged and installed.

Update 1:
Looks like just having the update.zip on the root of the SD card will prompt the update process (No 3 button required).

Update 2:
Update worked perfectly.

Ok, here's my problem. Have EB13, one click root, made sure Asphalt demo is installed and apk is in correct spot, reboot, apply update and get the following:

Installing: SDCARD: update.zip
finding update package...
Opeining update package...
Installing update...
E: Error in /sdcard/update.zip
(status 0)
Installation aborted.

Rename the update file to just "update" as opposed to "update.zip"

I get the exact same result as offtohavasu, so its not just him. Downloaded directly to root of SD, renamed to just 'update' (because the .zip is in there by default).

Edit: in case it matters, I'm rooted with CWM 2.5.1.0 (one-click method), EB13 stock though, no custom ROM.

Oh....never tried the .exe thing, but I don't think you can use that go to from EB13 to EC05. At any rate, the link to the file in the OP doesn't seem to work with CWM.

I'm not sure if the original One-Click has the revert script, but the 'All-in-One' OCR has it, its option #7. The thread where you can download it is here:

    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=808103

You don't need to remove root either, only revert back to stock recovery with option #7 after you use the run.bat. After its finished and the phone reboots, shut it off again, 3-finger to go into stock recovery and apply the update.zip from the OP after renaming and it should install, assuming you're also not missing any of the stock apps/apk's. If you are....let me know and I can point you to another thread with an easy method to restore any you're missing.

I am rooted with CWM 2.5, no custom rooms nor kernels. I downloaded this update after my notification popup method failed. I tried installing this by going to CWM and then choosing the default recovery but when it reboots, it stays at the Samsung logo. Obviously, installing the update.zip with CWM fails. How do I reinstall the default recovery so I can install the update.zip properly?

See post #34 in this thread. It will link you to removing Clockwork, which is the problem.
