Is this for real?

he also claims getting 4g with a t-mobile SIM.

Maybe someone can get a hold of this? Might be the key to unlocking the 1700 HSPA+ band.

Also looks smaller than 4.7in so it might be something different.

I think T-Mobile may have flipped something on today. In SLC,UT my coworker showed me his ONE with LTE and asked me WTF is it. One bar and speed test showed 5m ↑ and 10m ↓ so kinda weird. Checked the info settings under *#*#info#*#* and sure enough it said lte.

TMO LTE is indeed lit up for testing is SLC

Yeah, wrong thread but the answer is no. Bootloader unlock and flashing/rooting is different from SIM unlocking. But why would you buy on contract then SIM unlock? That doesn't even make sense.
