EDL stands for emergency download mode, when you hard brick your phone accidently, now you can't go to fastboot nor the bootloader,so the only option I would have is EDL,now I would have have to flash the stock firmware at EDL mode, which your realme flash tool doesn't have,we cant either use the oppo's msm flash tool as it requires authorisation to flash the stock firmware which comes at a cost,so if u add EDL mode in the flash tool itself,it would be helpful for developers to unbrick their smartphones, mainly the mtk ones as they easily get bricked. Even all realme mtk devices don't even have physical button mapping to go to fastboot mode which makes the device brick easily due to which the development in realme 7pro is far behind..hope you will understand the problem. If there are any one who wants some serious development for realme devices then retweet it
I will never buy realme smartphone again..

you can flash it using MsmDownloadTool v1.8.6 and use firmware RMX2170PU_11_A.11_200903_29f02403

without a suitable and functional tool to flash stock firmware, it's almost crazy to install custom ROM
