Has anyone tried resetting the phone and sideloading a firewall?. I've noticed an install app call Verizon login on my EE phone. Wonder if this is blocked before hand, it would block the locking?

Actually you do. The 6 month rule also applies to second hand devices regardless of where you are located or who you bought it from. You simply have to pay the 8.99 sterling unlock fee directly via CC and they will process the unlock. But again not until the device is 6 months old, so were looking at April / May before we can get unlocked. You have to contact them by phone for this.You're right .. But I have a slim chance to unlock with them because I bought the phone from someone..

to flash firmware u need to have the bootloader unlock but will not solve the problem with ee sim lock i already flash all the version , i think is locked like iphone without posibility to input the code cause i did with custom room and is same problem .Only think i manage to test on device was to do FRP from xtc2clip that was build for HTC phone and this is build by HTC but is missing some function to be able to remove sim lock .
O2 sims don't work in EE Pixel's, as far as I know 02 are not part of BT/EE !

Errr no they're not...
And it won't work with BT either as they have different cores and operator codes.

u can`t change by hand but there is already a method to unlock ee lock but cost 50pounds and u need bootloader unlocked or at least u didnt update to 7.1.1 and u are able to perform the bootloader unlock
Can you elaborate on his? Don't mind paying the money but didn't think it was possible getting around the 6 month wait time
If anyone still cares, google pixel ee can be sim-unlocked via volcano box. I know a guy in Romania who can do it via TeamViewer. The requirements are that the phone was not updated to 7.1.1 (needs to be 7.1) OR that it was bootloader-unlocked prior to upgrading to 7.1.1.
Even if they are 7.1.1 if u are lucky to find one with bootloader unlock it can get network unlock in 2 min or u can buy neverlocked that are declared stoled ) and get same method unlock to be able to use it again cause they get blacklisted worldwide like Iphone
