Don't know, but it takes so little time to flash radios that you can go back and forth and decide for yourself. I've had problems with connectivity on the leaked Gingerbread ROMs, both on the EC05 and EF02 modems. Going to try EF10 next, but I think my problems lie elsewhere.

I've been running EF02 since it leaked, and everything worked great for a while, then all of a sudden, the phone rebooted at one point, and after that, I had no radios. I re-flashed the EF02 modem, and everything started working. Since then, I've had to re-flash the modem several times to restore connectivity. I've since flashed the EC05 modem, which seems to be working fine with the EF02 GB ROM.

I had some radio issues but than I saw noobnl's post about re partition and the debugkernal in the EF02 leak. So I went back to Odin, re-flashed EF02 checking repartition and installing the debugkernal and upgraded to the EF10 modem and with the exception of some apps no longer available to me in the app store my Epic has been working flawlessly including Netflix.

After about 36 hours with EF02 modem it crashed and wouldn't come out of airplane mode. I had to reflash the EF02 modem to get it to work. I OTA upgraded to EF10 and it's been pretty solid. I've had EF10 installed since it leaked, and for the most part it runs better than stock Froyo with WAY better battery life. I've had a few lockups that seem to come from accumulated errors or memory glitches, I've gotten into the habit of rebooting once a day and it seems to keep GB running smooth. Can't wait for the official release.

EF02 modem works beautifully for me. Here's my suggestion:
Odin the EF02 modem and try it out for a couple of days. If you are not satisfied, just use the OTA to upgrade to the EF10 modem. Fortunately and unfortunately, by upgrading the modem, you will be spammed with an update to switch your modem back and forth. That is good if you found EF10 modem dissatisfying and want to switch back to the EF02 modem without Odining, but it also sucks that you get that annoying message. However, I believe someone found a way to get rid of that annoying message so if you just look around the forums a bit, I'm sure you can find it.

Hope this helps your decision!
