[EFS/IMEI][ME6/MF2]Please Read Before Flashing

Hallo
I got N7100 with 0049... IMEI, ofcourse no beckup of EFS. i repaird imei, now its ok on N7100XXDME6. But there is still no signal. I traid to del efs and than recover (as in 1st post), everything was ok, imei is stil correct, but no signal all the time. tried diffrents roms and modems, even customs. i unlocked it (just to be sure its ok) any ideas?

You need Ariza patch. But not working on 4.3 tw roms. Only 4.1.2

this patch doesnt work for me, after that imei is 0049..... i downgraded N2 to 4.1.1, repairt IMEI by z3x box. and update to latest 4.1.2 by OTA. Imei and SN is correct but no signal i tried to dwongrade it again and imei is 0049... again. no more ideas

I faced same problem. I installed.4.1.2 XXDMC3 (pre rooted )rom, rooted it again, flashed DLK7 modem and ran ariza patch... don't forget to put your Wi-Fi on when you run ariza... good luck.

Hello, Now I have a problem but from the beginning. I bought Note 2 with 4.1.1 rom then upgrade to 4.1.2 and it was not enough for me. I've root, install TWRP and install a 4.3 rom but don't remember which one (probably DN3 or Tigra rom), then back to 4.1.2 and again flash to some of 4.3 roms. IMEI changed to 0049.. no efs backup. I was trying everything changing roms from 4.1.1 to 4.3, almost all modems. I left my phone in my local GSM Service. They repair note, everything was warking but the rom was 4.1.1. I've made EFS backup, flash 4.1.2 and IMEI ok but "only emergency calls", restore efs, success. And now, when I want to flash 4.3 there is always "only emergency calls". With all 4.3 roms and modems still the same, "only emergency calls". Rom which I am using now and is working fine is stock 4.1.2 and is working only with N7100DXALIA modem, detales:
AP:N7100XXDMC3
CP:N7100DXALIA
CSC:N7100OXXDMC2

What can I do, is there any solution

1st make a efs backup every time you flash a new rom...and keep it in safe place...
2nd download mg1 from sammobile of from Dr.ketan thread...and flash from ODIN as PDA...
3rd again make efs backup
4th go for any 4.3 rom, but remember it's sage to flash MI6 rom only because MJ5 rom has something to do with bootloader to work wifi, however Dr.ketan had rectified it but first go for 4.3 MI6 such as hurricane, dn3..etc

Thank you for your answer and sory for long reply. I was trying what you said but wihout success. Any from 4.3 roms are not working (only emergency calls). I was trying to flash in Odin, Twrp and Cwm. I dont know why its not working. Any suggestions?

I wanted to change CSC to EUR but could not change it in this ROM.

So, via Odin I downgraded to:

and used an app from playstore to change CSC to EUR which performed a WIPE.

I checked to see if device turns on, (it does) and entered download mode to veerify csc (it is EUR) but I shut it off once I got the language choice menu, so that it is in an "out of the box" state.


SO, IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I COULD BE A VICTIM OF LOST IMEI/EFS STUFF?
