I wasn't sure how or where to post this. Please redirect me if I'm in the wrong place.
HTC Toouch Pro2 with Windows Phone 6.5 without Co0kies Home Tab 2.0 is an unusable POS that I can't imagine MS ever tested or tried to use. This is the Vista of Windows phone versions. (The HTC Touch Pro2 phone was a free upgrade when my previous Sprint windows phone (5.?) died.
- Issue
I uses Outlook tasks extensively and have Tasks on the Home page of my phone, enalbed by Co0kies.
I recently deleted my ActiveSync partnership with my laptop\Win7 & Outlook 2010 and configured ActiveSync to sync directly with m.hotmail.com
Note: My hotmail to-do list had no to-dos
Once the sync completed HTC sense contiually crashed and tried to restart and crasked again. The phone was unusable.
Somehow, don't remember why or how, I added a task to Tasks and sense started to work again. I may have wiped the phone and restored from a backup that had tasks, but I don't remember, this was a tramatic experience. This is my one an only phone and it wasn't working.
An empy Tasks list on the home page crashes HTC Sense 100% of the time, and it very painful to fix.
I have since added a dummy to-do to my hotmail account as a workaround, but I thought Co0kie might want to know about the issue.
Again, Co0kies Home Tab 2.0 is a wonderful app that made a worthless, unsuable, POS, doorstop into a reasonable phone an PIM.
Thx
