Emui 12 arrived today UK unlocked P40 pro. All GSM working as normal maps, Gmail etc. Google pay not working

Did you have google apps installed through googlefier or through some other method? I have installed mine using googlefier a long time ago (8+months) and since then I upgraded just fine with every upgrade. I just received an upgrade to emui12 but decided not to install it - because I don't want to lose my google apps. How did you proceed?

if you had gms before and factory reseta dn installed emui 12, can you install it with googlefier or you need to downgrade to emui 11
