[EMUI 5/5.1] Sound mod ( Viper4arise ) with Preinstalled Drivers for Honor Phones

How to ?
download this zip and save it to SD card

1. Unlock Bootloader
2. Flash TWRP via adb
3. Flash SuperSU via TWRP (Root is Must)
4. Open 'Terminal Emulator' in TWRP
5. type this command
' setenforce 0 ' , that will enable permissive mode
6. now flash the downloaded zip.
7. done. no need to wipe data or cache.

Driver are Preinstalled , so you wont get any driver installation issue.
Working perfectly on all honor phones with EMUI based on Android 7 or 7.1

Viper4arise does not replace your original sound mod. so if you uninstall Viper4arise, original sound mod will be there with you. otherways, you can take backup of your original mod using titanium backup, and flash it after Viper4arise is uninstalled.

Well i flashed it but i dont think the sound profile is any different XD . Tested it on the honor 7x. Any issues?

Well it shows the same thing here too. Then changed FX compatible mode to Compatible .

Did you check your SELinux mode?
Viper do not run if your SELinux mode is Enforcing.
set your SELinux mode to Permissive, Follow these instructions,
Open Terminal emulator in TWRP, Type--> Setenforce 0 , hit Enter , it will set SELinux mode to Permissive,
Now again FLASH Viper4arise zip file via TWRP.
Check again driver status of viper4arise.

hello max, i think all vipers are same.
if Magisk viper working good then go for it.
if any issue with installing viper drivers then try this zip. it have preinstalled drivers.

Does this work on Oreo?

No.
Oreo have Hardcoded Enforcing SELinux mode into Boot/Kernel, and V4A requires permissive mode.
we have to wait till any developer crack how to change SELinux mode to Permissive in Oreo.
