Thanks a bunch. Unfortunately I am having some trouble with this. The CAB installs fine. And I can turn on the transcriber. However, when I write on the screen, it does not actually recognise the input.

Any thoughts?
Could you perhaps post screen shots please of how you do it? Thanks so much

It works like a charm.... just follow the directions and it should work.

I have a question though. I created another user and its draining the battery. I got from 100% to 50% in about an hour is that supposed to happen?

I only get minimal drain when I've been on that profile for a while. Make sure you turn off sync for that user before you exit out.. Since it's my kid that would be using mine I do not allow for calls or messages.. Don't know if that makes a difference because I've never allowed it.

No multi-user on LG G4

Hi,

We got the LG G4 for our work phone, one of the main reason s was the multi-user support. There's three of us in the team and imagine how annoyed / frustrated we were that this feature is basically disabled. You have the default owner of the phone and just one extra user ! Why on earth would you mess up a good feature of Android that was only just implemented !!!!

I am in the UK on O2, but have found Vodaphone is the same and even a supposed unlocked version / sim free version in the Three store was the same :(

I am keen on trying to add thsoe two lines (fw.show_multiuserui=1 & fw.max_users=5), but have no idea how to go about doing it. Is it possible to have a more instructive guide so I can try this out please. Very new to this changing things stuff.

Thanks for any help.

Well I can confirm on a Verizon g4 just adding the two lines to build.prop worked flawlessly. It's in settings and everything like its supposed to be perfectly. Thanks I was tired of rearranging sh.t every time my mom used my phone lol

Also use 3c toolbox, I have never had any problems with it on any device and you can tweak literally every thing possible, even sh.t you shouldn't touch so be extremely careful with it

I know this is awhile back, but did you happen to solve this or know what the cause is? I saw someone else posted to turn off Sync on the alternate accounts, did that work for you? My battery drain seems pretty significant since enabling and creating another user. Using the Verizon G4.

Never attempt anything without making a proper backup.

First of all remember this that multi user support only comes enable in the EUROPE OPEN version only, Rest all variants does not have this feature enable by default.\
Secondly you have to first root your device in order to go further, if you cannot then i am sorry to say you cannot enable it.
Do Root you device install a proper Recovery Custom one (TWRP recommended) and do a complete backup of your current status for further restore if anything goes wrong.
After rooting simply use any root explorer of your choice mine is always FX FILE EXPLORER you can search for it in XDA FORUM.
Via this explorer go to your system rooted folder and there inside system folder you ll find build.prop, ( Press the lock icon to make the folder Writable because by default it will be read only ) open this file and then from top of the explorer press edit and add those two lines provided in the first post. In the last of the build.prop file.
After that save and check the permission on the file, thats easy simply press and hold the file pop up appears click security and you can see it, it should be 0644.
Simply reboot and you are good to go.
