Never attempt anything without making a proper backup.

Hi,
We got the LG G4 for our work phone, one of the main reason s was the multi-user support. There's three of us in the team and imagine how annoyed / frustrated we were that this feature is basically disabled. You have the default owner of the phone and just one extra user ! Why on earth would you mess up a good feature of Android that was only just implemented !!!!
I am in the UK on O2, but have found Vodaphone is the same and even a supposed unlocked version / sim free version in the Three store was the same
I am keen on trying to add thsoe two lines (fw.show_multiuserui=1 & fw.max_users=5), but have no idea how to go about doing it. Is it possible to have a more instructive guide so I can try this out please. Very new to this changing things stuff.
Thanks for any help.
First of all remember this that multi user support only comes enable in the EUROPE OPEN version only, Rest all variants does not have this feature enable by default.\
Secondly you have to first root your device in order to go further, if you cannot then i am sorry to say you cannot enable it.
Do Root you device install a proper Recovery Custom one (TWRP recommended) and do a complete backup of your current status for further restore if anything goes wrong.
After rooting simply use any root explorer of your choice mine is always FX FILE EXPLORER you can search for it in XDA FORUM.
Via this explorer go to your system rooted folder and there inside system folder you ll find build.prop,
( Press the lock icon to make the folder Writable because by default it will be read only ) open this file and then from top of the explorer press edit and add those two lines provided in the first post. In the last of the build.prop file.
After that save and check the permission on the file, thats easy simply press and hold the file pop up appears click security and you can see it, it should be 0644.
Simply reboot and you are good to go.
