Enable native call recorder on S20FE 4g Exynos

Good morning to all.

I have successfully managed to enable call recording.
With ODIN I only flashed HOME_CSC_OMC_ODM_G780FODM8CUK1.
Now in the settings there is the voice to record.
S20FE 4 G Italian

Hello,

download firmware with CSC INS from sammobile.
Once downloaded using 7zip unzip it.
There will be 6 flies.
You must only use:
HOME_CSC_OMC_ODM_G780FODM8CUK1_CL22470724_QB45545976_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5

Open ODIN and put your phone in download mode.
Upload CSC only: HOME_CSC_OMC_ODM_G780FODM8CUK1_CL22470724_QB45545976_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5

Flash and after the restart you will have in the phone application the recording of the calls.

Ciao, i do not understand what means "download firmware with CSC INS from sammobile".
Have I to download a particular firmware from a specific country?

I own an S20FE 4G Snapdragon this Do you think this workaround can still work for me?
If I write that file I risk losing the root for some reason? I haven't modded in years and I've spent three hours doing it and if I lose it I'll go crazy!

if you need to record calls, you need to change the CSC.

This is the CSC country where calls can be recorded.

It works, installed Indonesia last firmware for SM-G780G/DS (4G snapdragon) and now I can record calls...

It has installed some bloatware, but everything works...

As the author of the post wrote it doesn't seem to need bootloader unlocking, mine is unlocked though.
As for bloatware I installed an Indonesian CSC and it added a couple of apps from that country that are easy to remove or disable.

I've got ILO soft and android 11, then the android 12 update come over (OTA) and I still don't now if after the update recording calls (by ACR or the system dialer) will still be working :-(

If not, well - that's probably the last chance to root the phone.

Is there anyone with ILO soft who did the update to android 12 ?

Jan (OneUI 4), Dec and Nov all share the same binary number as firmwares. that means you flash OneUI 4 and go back and flash Nov or Dec if you wish to.

nope, I haven't flashed OneUI 4 and it's not in region anyway.
