Whoever cannot revert from v6.0, I made this, it worked for me. Now Sim settings are back
Huge thanks, you saved me from a clean flash ! You are a real savior

I'm sharing my experience :
I'm on OxygenOS 5.0.6 with a OnePlus 3T
With the magisk module v5.4 and v6.0, call recording get disabled after 12h or so.
With v5.3, I lasted more than 48h and call recording was still enabled, but my Sim & Network settings were broken without my knowledge from the previous use of v6.0 . I don't know if it can have an impact on call recording lasting longer. Now I restored my Sim & Network settings (huge thanks to @rori~ ) and reinstalled v5.3 . I will see if call recorder keep enabled and will report it :)

Thanks to everyone involved in this project !

I've tested the test build 2 just a few seconds ago by installing in magisk manager and rebooted: Sims were detected, sim settings available, call recording active.

Long time test outstanding.. But it's working :cowboy:thanks @shadowstep and @My Name is ShaoXIa
Good to know! I think this might be our solution! Still going to wait for a couple of days more though. Let me know if there are any anomalies! :)

Thank you for your testing, this is very important for everyone, I think I finally made up for my mistakes, but this kind of processing method may cause problems when you upgrade across versions, such as upgrading from Android 8.0 to Android 9.0, or official There are major changes to this apk (this is almost impossible, unless the luck is very poor), so the advice for everyone is, if an update like Android 8.0 upgrade 9.0. This module can be temporarily disabled and reinstalled after the upgrade is successful.
That is correct, yes, because the APK that is being modified might get changed with a system/ROM update so it might be necessary then to uninstall the existing module, reboot, and reinstall the module via Magisk Manager to make sure the latest, most updated APK is being used for modification and not an old one.

Im on pie, with 6.2 call recording works good. But sim setting still broken.
Try these steps:

- Delete v6.2 module from Magisk Manager
- Reboot
- Install this module https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78409783&postcount=516
- Reboot and check if SIM setting is available.
- If YES, then delete the new module from Magisk Manager
- Reboot and check again if SIM setting is available
- If YES again, the install the v6.2_TEST2 module https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78409836&postcount=517
- Reboot and check SIM settings and call recording

Hi everyone - OP updated! :)

New stable Magisk module (v7.0) is now available for download from the OP as well as from Magisk Repo. To avoid any issues, I recommend the following upgrade path -
  • Uninstall the existing module (test/old stable) from Magisk Manager
  • Reboot your phone
  • Download and install the latest module (v7.0) from Magisk Manager's Download section
  • Reboot your phone again once the installation is complete
Enjoy the weekend!
