Thank you, but not really a fan of xXx ROM though since I'm too lazy to go through all the options and had a few bad experiences using this in the past. Here you go, this should be of help to you https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...gisk-rom-xxx-nolimits-11-0-speed-ram-t4088609
I could offer you a few words that you may in short find of benefit. This is not the thread though. I'm just going to say that many things are possible with Android if you are not lazy.Thank you, but not really a fan of xXx ROM though since I'm too lazy to go through all the options and had a few bad experiences using this in the past.
Magisk Canary is your issue. It's not supported. Switch to the stable version and you'll be fine.T-Mobile OnePlus 8 converted to international. OOS 10.5.9. Envira kernel v1.8. Latest Magisk Canary.
Uninstall the module completely (not the same as disabling), reboot, install the module again.it is not working as of OOS 10.0.9.HD01AA (for O7TPro hotdog). com.android.phone keeps stopping
It's definitely not the module. Something's up at your end. If you can't remove a module, then it's a Magisk issue, not a module issue. Nonethess, you can try manually removing it by using a file manager. Delete the /data/adb/modules/oosnativecallrecordingenabler folder and reboot. You should be good to go.I can't even uninstall it from magisk anymore, removed everything to update ROM to latest oos 10.0.6 in op7 pro, reinstalled all, call recording isn't working which I suspect op have removed it, so tried to remove the module & it just sits there saying will be deleted on next restart, but multiple restarts & still the same, tried reinstalling the module & deleting, still sits there in magisk & won't delete.
Anyone else got ideas how to remove?
Thanks bud, that removed it.It's definitely not the module. Something's up at your end. If you can't remove a module, then it's a Magisk issue, not a module issue. All but confirms my earlier remarks about 10.0.6 release removing call recording. It's not working in OB 16 for OP 7. I used the magisk module (EnableOOSNativeCallRecording-Magisk+v9.1.zip) and it's not working anymore. Bummer!
Please try the following: Uninstall the module -> Reboot -> Reinstall the latest module zip via Magisk Manager -> RebootIt's not working in OB 16 for OP 7. I used the magisk module (EnableOOSNativeCallRecording-Magisk+v9.1.zip) and it's not working anymore. Bummer!
I am on Magisk 20.4 stable. I installed the module only today after flashing OB 16/reboot. Before (in OB 15), I was using the zip in TWRP.Please try the following: Uninstall the module -> Reboot -> Reinstall the latest module zip via Magisk Manager -> Reboot
Also make sure you're NOT on Magisk Canary.
If you can see the call recording option, then the zip worked fine. That's what it is supposed to enable. Why the recording is not going through, is a question only OnePlus can answer.I am on Magisk 20.4 stable. I installed the module only today after flashing OB 16/reboot. Before (in OB 15), I was using the zip in TWRP.
Just for you, I tried this now - Uninstalled the Magisk module, reboot, installed the zip in TWRP (EnableOOSNativeCallRecording-Flashable v8.0) and still doesn't work. I see the call recording option in Phone Settings and is enabled. But doesn't work.
No, all known methods are described in the first postThanks! The ADB command works on my OP7Pro. Just wondering, is there a non-root method to execute this command automatically after every reboot, it is quite inconvenient to plug in a PC and get it running again every boot?
Give jOnePlus Tools a shot. You can grant it a one time permission via ADB and then you can use it to enable native call recording using the toggle whenever you want, without needing to use ADB again. Thanks! Same here (5T), but it seems to be an android 10 bugHey tried it today with the latest android 10 and its working fine in regular calls but the voice will become very thick and slow and incomprehensible when I use the loud speaker.
