Enable Tethering in Settings

I am running stock ZVC and was having difficulty finding USB Tethering in the Settings. I have since discovered that it is under "More" in the Wireless Networks tab of Settings but none of the Tethering options are visible for me. All I have are the Network options -- Mobile Networks and VPN. I tried directly opening up the Tethering page via Shortcut Master but it closes as soon as it opens and it is just a blank page with a title bar. I believe this is tied into my APN settings but I have tried the ",dun" method and it didn't work. I was wondering if there was a flag I could swap from "0" to "1" somewhere in the /system partition that would enable these options for me. I am rooted an quite comfortable with Android system files if that helps.

*edit*
I have now also edited the settings database to "tether_dun_required=0" and even tried "tether_entitlement_check_state=0" and neither have fixed my issue. I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't just install a custom rom based on Stock to get this feature.

Sprint default has no tethering. You can try a third party app or install a custom rom like fulmics or cloudy g2.
