change from 2.5 ghz to 5ghz or vice versa

Hey all! Long time reader, first time poster. Here's the deal. I am rooted, got xposed, downloaded x tether. When I went to the hotspot it worked no permissions or verification. Unfortunately my tablet isn't seeing whatever my S5 is putting out. It's an Asus Transformer pad Infinity. It used to connect to my GS3 with treve mod wifi tether just fine. I'll keep searching and fiddling around. I await your replies. :)

Don't know why it's doing that for you. Try uninstalling the sqlite you purchased and download the one im using which is this one https://www.dropbox.com/s/hhtjlblmu382pn0/sqlite_editor_2.1_HiAppHere_com.apk?dl=0 see if that works for you. I just checked it and it works perfectly fine for me.

Hey so what method did you use to root? Just got my S5 yesterday, and from what I've read, the Towelroot method doesn't work anymore with the latest OTA update on the SM-G900V. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I haven't heard from anyone interested in testing so I am just going to put this out there if anyone is willing to try:

The following file should enable native tethering on your G900V running stock firmware(other than root and safestrap) version NI2. Use on custom ROM's or any other firmware version will cause issues on your device. Proceed at your own risk!

Here it is:

File removed after test failure. (To undo the mod flash the G900V_NI2_TetherAddOn - ReverttoStock.zip using the same instructions below).

Instructions:
1. Root your device.
2. Install Safestrap.
3. Place the applicable G900V_NI2_TetherAddOn.zip on ext sdcard.
4. Reboot into Safestrap Recovery and flash the TetherAddOn.zip (Do Not Wipe Prior to Flashing!)
5. Reboot. Done!

Let us know how it works. Thx

No worries. I freaked out for a min. Im in a hotel in vegas at the moment and dont have all my "tools" with me to really troubleshoot. I installed the return to stock/uninstall script thing and now im back. Il let you play with it some more. Thanks for the effort. :)

Xposed x tether works great
I feel like my phone hasn't been the same since installing xposed and x tether. I've been having issue sending text messages, my Gear 2 won't send pics to my phone via bluetooth, I noticed my screen doesn't respond as well, and the phone just seems to be lagging overall. Anyone else experience symptoms like this? I'm rooted on NI2.

Update:
In case anyone else is looking for the fix, I found a great How to on how to fix performance with Xposed.
