Yes..I'm a bit behind the times. Recently I had to upgrade from my sm-g900p, which I had rooted, getting spoiled with all the possibilities rooting can give u, to the s7, metro pcs version. To my dismay, I discover the locked bootloader, a common characteristic of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Fumbling around on the good old internet I run across this..

Considering the fact that this is a two year old article I am dubious as to the affectiveness of this process since I havent run across any answers for this device here on the forums. Has anybody tried this at all?..will this work?
