Engineermode app for XZ premium?

Is the Engineermode app present in any of the XZ premium firmwares? That would be a user-friendly way to root the phone without unlocking the bootloader.

According to this website it has been discovered on Sony smartphones before. Is this website legit?

Unlike EngineerMode (which was found on devices by several manufacturers including HTC, Samsung, LG, Sony, Huawei, and Motorola), the OnePlusLogKit application (decompiled APK) most certainly is present only in OnePlus devices.

I belive it's for phones with a mediatek chip not snapdragon. I had the app on my Xperia xa ultra it was mediatek

If it was that easy, it would be well known by now. Guys like storm// wouldnt be mucking around with drm fixes and such. Root on locked bootloader has been dead since z3.
