Hello, I just dirty flashed your r21 build in orangefox 9 recovery over r20 (ROM PE CAF latest) while flashing in recovery a line like 'failed to mount cust device or resource busy' showed up. So, I formated my phone and wiped all partitions, then flashed same rom, magisk and r21. Same line showed up again. However, both times kernel seemed to be installed successfully, and I didn't notice any problems using my phone. Can you please look into this. Thank you.

No need to worry its a warning from that particular recovery. Either way as you said the kernel does installs successfully.

I see input boost is enabled by default, how do i disable input boost
Set input boost duration to 0.

Set input boost duration to 0.
I supposed to change input interval to 0ms and disable input boost frequency right, i dont see any input boost duration in kernel auditor, or am i have to use other app ?

It's right there on the left corner "input interval"
Ouch i though it supposed to be "input boost interval" for me to change, thanks

---------- Post added at 10:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:37 AM ----------

also is there any disadvantage when turning input boost off ? the advantage i heard is having a bit more battery time,so i would want to know if there any disadvantage

Can confirm. I noticed some micro stutters when scrolling in Chrome, YouTube, and the official Twitch app.

Englezos r21 - input boost enabled (1401MHz, 850ms), LOS 15.1, Magisk 19.3.

Saw any difference between the stock lineage kernel and this kernel with charging and performance ?

I personally saw difference with performance , dont know about charging with r21 . How's the charging in r21 ? And can u please test antutu benchmarks of r21 ? Am using the same rom LOS 15.1 .

Btw my antutu benchmarks are this --

Englezos r20 (3.18.140) --- 79243 (Set to PERFORMANCE)
Lineage (3.18.71) --- 82458 . (Set to PERFORMANCE)

Hi Masters
My brother's Xiaomi Mido has Franco's kernel. Can I flash the Englezos in a dirty installation?
Thank you.

    Hi all,
The main priority of this kernel is to stay always up-to-date with latest android-linux-stable, CAF, and/or Linux kernel changes. I want to keep things as simple and minimal as possible. The kernel is also focusing on battery life while maintaining performance!

Note: This kernel is compatible with Android 8-10 Treble. This kernel is not compatible with MIUI, actually it will never be.

    Features:
    • Latest CAF msm-3.18 kernel fully merged
    • ext4, f2fs, sdFAT, vfat and exFAT support
    • Sound control, display control (KCAL) adjustments and vibration strength control
    • CPU governors: interactive, conservative, performance
    • CPU and GPU frequencies are kept stock. (CPU 652/2016. GPU 133/650)
    • I/O schedulers: bfq, noop, deadline, cfq
    • TCP Algorithms: cubic, reno, westwood
    • Input (touch) boost is enabled by default and it is also user configurable
    • Power efficient workqueues and idle power consumption is reduced to the absolute minimum
    • ZRAM support with many implementations for all phone variants
    • SafetyNet bypass code
    • TTL Target / IP Mangle Support
    • CRC32 & SHA256 crypto algorithms
    • Excluded all debugging symbols for kernel size reduction
    • Many more under the hood improvements, the code speaks for itself.

    How to install:
You can install this kernel by flashing it through your favorite recovery (TWRP, OrangeFox, etc).
Please do a clean installation of this kernel (flash you roms boot.img first) in order to avoid any issues.

Englezos Kernel r25 [END OF LIFE] - 10/09/19

[Probably a final build at that time being since this project is complete with 25 solid releases plus 3.18 is dead. Currently moved into a new device BUT if anything intresting pops up into mido community I will hop back so no worries. Mido is still in my existance for those who are curious.]
