May I ask is there anything you're missing with new zygisk basked Magisk? How are you handling root if you were using one.
Magisk 23.0 still works in every aspect but eventually the maintainer will drop the support for Magisk Modules repo as he already did in 24.1. Eventually Google will break something in Safetynet and I would rather than scramble with all this at last second. I did things on my backup device and it worked fine, so all devices got the upgrades as it was easy enough.

This is the module I was talking about: https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix

I think that with Props it helps pass the SafetyNet. I missed the deny list part, thank you :)

Yeah I was asking for zygisk or riru one. But I guess you had the right one there.
And yeah Magisk Hide used to add all the apps automagically but denylist doesn't. So you have to manually add them.

I recently did a clean install of Lineage OS 18.1 latest build on my OP5T and I am having problems with my dual sim. It seems that when I use one sim for mobile data, the other sim completely loses signal (can't receive SMS or receive calls for that sim) and vice versa. Is there a fix for this?

I don't have your problem.

OnePlus 5 only allows, one sim on volte at time, if both the sims are 4g only the it won't work.

I would like to report issue regarding vowifi, I have noticed vowifi is not stable, in between calls the phone switches between vowifi and volte which results in call drops. My network provider has confirmed that 4g network specifically at home won't be any better and I have to rely on WiFi.

Hey, I have an Issue with my OnePlus 5 and the newest nightly build. Sometimes single apps don't have internet connection, doesn't matter if the device is connected to wifi or mobile data. I can fix it most of the time when I restart it. Like I said, it isn't an app in particular, I happened to every app I have installed at least once...

I've had this issue for like a year. I have tried numerous of other roms and Lineage is the only one that does this.

Is this rom still actively developed or has development focused to Android 12?
Maybe this is related to the somewhat known problem that the function for limiting data access per app, over wifi or mobile data, is causing issues. In my case the kernel will crash, when disabling wifi + enabling mobile data, and the 5T does a fast reboot. Does not always happen, for me comes in waves. Anyhow, that issue can seemingly be avoided by NOT limiting data access per app. I did not tryout whether that solves. Would have to look back per app whether I somewhere limited data access and deactivate that setting. Apparently it is the command that sets some firewall rule that causes an exception with such negative effects. And maybe this is old stuff as I did not update my 5T for quite some months and 'my' issue was fixed already. Hope this vague story hits some good with you.

I recently bought a OnePlus Watch, which is working pretty good so far. Unfortunately, it complains about missing ephemeris data to speed up the location lock. I can only guess that the companion app can't find this kind of data in the filesystem/database of the OS. Is it possible to debug this somehow?

Nevertheless, I tried to dig into this and noticed that my OnePlus 5T (latest 18.1 build from 25. Jan. 2022) is only using GPS satellites to gain a position lock, even though it sees other satellite systems, like Glonass and Galileo. I used the app GPSTest to see which satellites it locks onto, and these are GPS satellites only. Do other people encounter the same behaviour/issue? If yes, is this fixable by the ROM maintainer?

Screenshots: created while being outside and at different times of the day (it's been cloudy). The bold border indicates used satellites.

EDIT: I reported the GPS issue to the lineage issue tracker under https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/4381
Also answering this one (sorry for being so late): I am an active OpenStreetMap contributor and used my 5T a LOT with GPS, doing surveys in the field. When I swapped my 3T for that 5T I imm. installed LOS on it, now running 18.1 of months old. And indeed confirmed, the 5T/LOS always only locks on american GPS and not on the other sat systems like Glonass. I now also have an 8T and there the whole Christmas tree lights up with lotsa locked sats, Glonass, Galileo included. I think I do not see that much interest for getting the GNSS subsystem in LOS to work optimally, because: it works, so why bother. Not realizing it is walking on 1 leg.

Yes, that issue is a known one:

The first one got closed, but the issue persists since about a year. Really annoying :-/ But since a few hours there seems to be an ugly fix for it? https://gitlab.com/divested-mobile/divestos-build/-/commit/927b9bfbc584e373a77358025d21fae183025c87
It says it's tested on cheeseburger (OP5). Maybe @T1mb3 can include it in the LineageOS builds?

I fully understand your perspective and I have no idea how much work is needed to get the full GNSS subsystem to work.
I just noticed slow location fixes (>15 secs, often >30 secs) in some circumstances, like in the forest while it's cloudy, when being on a hike in the mountains, etc. I can only guess that a location fix might be faster if more satellites are usable and the phone doesn't have to wait for weaker GPS signals to be discovered.
There were also GPS interferences in Eastern Europe recently - see for example. Even though I don't want to judge why this happened, it would be useful to have the other systems running in such circumstances.

Has @frov says the only operational GNSS in official LineageOS is GPS.

It is very curious because in the official crDroid, which is based on LineageOS, all GNSS systems (Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS) work perfectly simultaneously, it could be a matter of the Device Tree used.

just a query: will LDAC work ? all the bluetooth options on my 5T running latest lineage 18.1 are greyed out in developer options by default, but i recognise some become available when paired... but i don't have any LDAC devices (yet! which is the reason for my enquiry)

can anyone confirm success ?

Yes LDAC works for me on OP5 using Sony WF-1000XM4.
