Thanks! This is good news. I can now just look through a few patches to try to fix it,as opposed to a whole bunch.Yeah, for me is working too!

I made some tests and audio is working well. I'll continue to test it, thank you!New version...Back to Linux 3.4.113. Hopefully with fixed audio. Please let me know as I really want to start adding things to this. Things to look for are distorted recorded audio or anything similar and headphone detection. Obviously anything else as well, but these were the issues reported so far. Thanks!
Download Test 3 Here
Also, switched to self built UBERTC 7.0 for the toolchain.
+1 - well done @spookcity138 ! ;:good:I made some tests and audio is working well. I'll continue to test it, thank you!![]()

Yeah,I've used anykernel2,so it's compatible with all nougat ROMS. No features yet, just custom toolchain, build flags and Linux kernel patches.Hi!
Is it already useable with LOS 14.1?

For me the Test3 kernel seems to produce far less warm restarts compared to the stock kernel of RR 5.8.2New version...Back to Linux 3.4.113. Hopefully with fixed audio. Great! And thanks for the feedback. There should be some improvements. Besides the custom toolchain and build flags. I have applied nearly 75 Linux kernel update patches to go from 3.4.39 -> 3.4.113 (the latest) Each patches multiple files. Sometimes 50+. These are fixes, improvements etc. In total 1,000's of files have been patched/fixed/improved. So hopefully there are at least some minor improvements from the 3.4.39 kernel. For me the Test3 kernel seems to produce far less warm restarts compared to the stock kernel of RR 5.8.2
So in terms of stability this is a real improvement.
Not at this point. I may include it in one of my ROM builds once I decide on the ROM I plan to stick with. It can be flashed over any nougat custom ROM though without problem.Sorry for this question, does this kernel included in any of the custom ROMs?
Great! Thank you very much. Hopefully I will have some time over the weekend to start tweaking and adding. After 3 days of usage i can confirm EVERYTHING working. Waiting for the kernel with features![]()
Updated To latest beanstalk, flashed kernel and the 1400mhz issue is back. I have CPU locked working 100% on idle. Rebooted, pulled out battery but nothing changedGreat! Thank you very much. Hopefully I will have some time over the weekend to start tweaking and adding.
Weird, I don't think I've experienced this before, but if its the same with the stock kernel then yeah. Perhaps I can tweak something to avoid this. I'm unsure. I'll look into it.Updated To latest beanstalk, flashed kernel and the 1400mhz issue is back. I have CPU locked working 100% on idle. Rebooted, pulled out battery but nothing changed
EDIT: te issue is ROM/Gapps related. Stock kernel have same bug

Edit:
But it does sort itself out right?
Is beanstalk running OK for you?
