You have not read the OP. You cannot (should not) use any other kernel tweak app than my own one.I can't overclock on beta 4 . It switches back to default.im using kernel audiator on oxygen os . 5.0.1
I tested a kernel in the past days. But I found something to fix first. Nothing major though. LineageOS team changed handling of touchkey lights once again compared to 14.1 (now they light up when screen is touched, different to 14.1). Have to change my driver for it, then a first beta kernel will go out.can't wait to flash lineage os 15.1 and your kernel! seems like the rom improved a lot. if you have a test kernel let me know![]()
I'll flash as soon as I get home :good::good::good:Time has come for a first LineageOS 15.1 beta kernel. now:
Version 3.0-beta1
20.03.2018
- First public release -> EXPECT ALL SORT OF BUGS, Android Oreo is a whole new game !!
[*]Note: This kernel only runs on LineageOS 15.1 for the OnePlus 3 - nothing else !!!
[*]Important: You need at least Boeffla-Config app version 2.5.14 or newer for this kernel
- Features are exactly the same as in last LineageOS 14.1 Boeffla kernel (see xda kernel thread for full feature list), except:
- Touchkey LED driver: this was removed as LineageOS 15.1 comes with all options built-in already
Note: Boeffla-Config start is slow on LineageOS 15.1., it takes several seconds. Poor performance of root command execution in Lineage 15.1 is the reason for this, and Boeffla-Config fires aweful many root commands during start.
OOS 5 shows, this can be much faster, so I hope LineageOS team will work on that one day (I cannot change it from my side without following a completely different approach in my app).
Thanks and enjoy
Andi
I agree.Quick update: Been testing Lineage OS 15 with your kernel and I have to say that Lineage OS still runs "horribly" against other ROM's, so I'll be switching again. Lags while scrolling and laggy animations even though It's freshly installed. In my opinion Omni ROM is the way to go at the moment, runs better and features like network speed meter or native theme support just work better (+ omni rom has 0 bugs!)
And I don't think It's your kernel which is causing this issues because with the stock kernel I had the same issues
Maybe It's time you build Omni ROM kernels again like back in the daysI agree.
And this was the reason I was waiting for almost 2 weeks with release of my kernel. I hoped the rom would improve by that time, and it did slightly.
But Lineage 15.1 is definitely not yet there, by far not.

Not opening that can of worms again, this is beyond my free capacity.Maybe It's time you build Omni ROM kernels again like back in the days![]()
ok, then i hope los will come backNot opening that can of worms again, this is beyond my free capacity.
I am convinced it will take weeks and then LOS will be slowly coming back to previous strenght.

No, and I am not gonna implement something that does it.I have this problem of thermal throttling.
your kernel can disable thermal throttling of oneplus 3?
